Image Upload

In Image Upload panels, students upload and can annotate an image.

They are found in Data Collection in the Experimentation tab and can be added to lessons through the Question Customization tool or the Custom Lesson Authoring tool.

1. Select "Image Upload."

2. Fill in the following table elements.

  1. Full Name: Number and name the Image Upload panel.
  2. Short Name: Shortened name that will display for students in the data collection dropdown on their exercise page.
  3. Add any necessary instructions in the Compose Question box. Bold the question so that it matches Science Interactive-authored content.

3. Make any adjustments to the "More options" menu that you desire.

These advanced settings are optional and don't impact the general use of an Image Upload panel.

You can add an answer key image for yourself in the Sample Answer field by selecting the Image icon seen below and selecting the image on your computer.

4. Select "Save" on the top right side of the window.

5. On the Exercise page, scroll to the Image Upload panel you just created and assign a point value.

If you make no changes, the Point Value will default to 1.

6. Scroll to the bottom and select "Save."

7. Repeat this process to create as many Image Uploads as you would like.
