1. Select "Math Formula Image."

2. Compose the question.

Bold the question so that it matches Science Interactive-authored questions.

2.1. Use the math icon (Greek sigma) to open the math panel to include math formatting options.

3. Select "+ADD" under Image preview to add the image for your question.

Navigate to the image in your computer. Accepted file types are png, gif, and jpg/jpeg.

We recommend including a brief description of the image in the "Text on hover" and "Image alternative text" boxes for accessibility.

4. Under Response Positions, select "+ADD" for each response box you want to include in the question.

If you include multiple responses, each box will be numbered and you can individually drag them into place on the image.

4.1. If needed, you can set the width and height of the response boxes below the image.

5. Set the correct answer for each Response by selecting "+ADD" and filling in the "Value" field.

5.1. The "Value" field includes the special characters menu that includes common chemistry formatting options.

6. Select "Save" in the top right corner of the page.

This will return you to the Exploration Overview page.

7. Scroll the question in the Overview page and set the point value for the question.

If you do not manually set a point value, the question will default to 1 point.

8. Select "Save" at the bottom of the page.

9. Repeat these steps to create as many questions as you would like.
