Why do my students have extra materials in their kits?

Updated on

Some kits that students receive may include more tools or equipment (such as pipe cleaners, beakers, pipettes, etc.) than are called for in their lessons.

This occurs on occasion due to our packing techniques that often bundle together many commonly-used items for ease of assembly.

  • These items do not need to be returned. We recommend either keeping them for future use or donating them to a local school.
  • These items are not factored into the price of the kit. The price of a course's kit reflects only the materials actually used in the included lessons.

If your student thinks they may have purchased the wrong kit, they should fill out our customer service contact form here.
